Artwork description
A large moody linocut using the silhouetted tree block from my linocut Otmoor Tree. This version has a monoprinted background of an inky blue sky which fades to green at the horizon, faint wispy clouds and a glowing full moon with a halo rising up in the sky.
This is one of a very small edition of prints, all of which are printed by hand so variations occur between them making each one truly original.
This work is printed with water-based, light-fast inks on Somerset Satin paper and has a beautiful matt finish. It is numbered, titled and signed at the bottom, mounted in a neutral colour and wrapped in cellophane to keep it clean. The mounted work will fit in a 16x20inch frame.
