The Orange Trees Lite at Villa Gioia, Puglia. Here I have a simplified sketch of the Orange Trees in Villa Gioia. I wanted to balance the greens with the white stone. The dark wobbly tree trunks twisting under the leaves. Definitely a loose skecth which would look fantanstic in a silver frame with white mount. This is painted in Watercolour on Hot pressed 300gsm - 140lb Arches Watercolour paper and with Windsor and Newton watercolor paints.
