I created Orange Banana 1 & 2 together, so they can go as a set but look just as lovely each on its own. These works explore my ongoing relationship with nature through abstracted foliage and layered mark-making. Large leaf forms move across soft, muted grounds, interrupted by loose orange lines that add rhythm and direction. I’m not trying to describe plants as they are, but how they feel — shifting, imperfect, and alive. The process is intuitive and physical, allowing the composition to grow naturally. Together, these pieces are calm but active, bringing a sense of quiet movement and organic balance into a space.
