Only ballast takes the elevator is inspired by the idea that life without confidence would be sad and simply impossible.
Confidence is a central theme in a woman's life, without which she would not be able to overcome the many hurdles, whether as a woman or a mother. This has not changed even in times of emancipation.
The painting was created using mixed media techniques (painting, graphics and linocut) on zinc sheet. It is supplied with a shadow gap frame in white glazed wood with a hanger.
