During April when I was taking the dog for her usual early morning walk I was struck by how attractive the sunlight was slanting through low lying mist in front of a line of trees. Mist was lying low over the field in dense patches. It was a beautiful start to the day so quiet and still. The light and atmosphere helped create my painting “One Day in April” Painted on my favourite Sienna ground, text left “One Day in April” right “April Morning”. Signed bottom right edge, signed titled and dated on the reverse.
