A pool of water reflecting an ancient statue of Aphrodite and, next to it, the figure of a "demoiselle d'antan" dressed in white. Two contrasting images of the power of female seduction appear on the stony road that, between the rocks, perhaps leads to a house on a wooded hill. In the the background, up to the horizon, the sea opens to the view.
