I painted this view in a rather high rock from a sketch in the workshop. From this place I painted a couple of field studies, one in the afternoon and the other in the evening at sunset. The place is located next to the road leading to the ruins of the ancient city of Amos from the village of Turunc in Turkey. While I was paiting sketches, people often stopped and took pictures for memory.
