Insight:
Horses take special place in my heart and they have always been one of the main subjects in my art.
Here’s an unusual painting for me. I didn’t want to make it all about the subject. On contrary, I wanted to show the idea, the feeling and not just the horse itself. This is also the reason I made it monochrome. I think it turned out the way I wanted. What do you feel when you look at this painting?
I see rainy cool day, the smell of the ground and grass is in the air. It's foggy and wet. But the warmth of the gentle animal makes it all cozy. It's so quiet, the soft rain sounds almost poetic. The raindrops are dripping from the fur, clear sky emerges somewhere in the distance and it's time to go home. To wrap in the blanket, make a cup of hot tee and remember this beautiful day.
