Olive tree on the Dassia (2013)Oil painting
by Simon Kozhin
£3,837.68
Original artwork description
Olive tree on the coast of Dassia. The Emerald Isle is one of the favorite islands for tourists in the Mediterranean. Corfu is the most picturesque island and the olive motif on the coast of the middle sea symbolizes Greek hospitality.
I poured my heart into capturing the serene strength of this olive tree standing proudly by the tranquil coast. Using oil to blend impressionism with realism, I wanted to convey a peaceful yet vibrant energy—nature’s timeless resilience and calm invitation. This piece will bring a soothing, grounding presence to any space, evoking a moment of quiet reflection and natural beauty.
