Original artwork description
I titled this work “Old House in L’Estérel,” inspired by the atmosphere of this quiet place.
The house seems to hold traces of time and human stories within it.
I aimed to convey its character through uneven lines and a lively texture of brushstrokes.
The red roofs draw the eye and create a sense of warmth among the greenery.
The staircase leads upward, as if inviting the viewer to become part of this space.
The surrounding trees are painted freely, almost impulsively, like the breath of the wind.
I did not seek precise forms — for me, the mood and feeling of the moment were more important.
The colors interact here, sometimes contrasting, yet supporting one another.
In this work, I tried to capture the harmony between nature and human presence.
And if the viewer can feel the quiet and life of this place, then the painting has spoken.
