In my oil painting, I strove to capture the serene yet powerful essence of a timeless rural landscape. Layering my brushstrokes, I infused each element with a sense of history muscled into every crease of the mountains and each blade of grass in the fields. This meditative depiction, bridging Impressionism and Realism, evokes a quietude that invites introspection. It’s a homage to nature’s enduring beauty and the tranquil simplicity of pastoral life, bringing a calming, reflective energy into any space.
I painted this motif twice. This is an extraordinary amount of green shades that are especially mesmerizing in the mountains. The airy environment perfectly plays in shades, adding cold halftones.
