Original artwork description
This mixed media painting is part of an ongoing series of paintings inspired by my love and the wonder of trees. I love the sounds of the branches and leaves moving in the wind and their history. This painting is inspired by some very old trees. Year after year they shed their leaves and their old bare branches survive the long winter. Spring arrives and the cycle starts again as new leaves grow.
This artwork has been created on a box canvas and has painted white sides. It is signed on the back and the sides and fitted with chord so all ready to hang.
