I love old doors! There's something about the well-worn character and promise of what lies behind them. They can tell a story. They are often adorned with flowers or ornaments and look very welcoming and attractive, a real feature of a building!
This is an original, one-of-a kind, high quality painting. One of my collection of pen and wash paintings of old doorways. This is one I spotted in Crete, I thought the blue paint was particularly eye-catching!
