“Of war and peace”, because we are all at war in these strange times. At war with this virus, at war with ourselves trying to keep our head above water, at war with the media - begging them to report truthfully and not so darn negatively! I have put myself in a space where it is peaceful for me and my mind, which is my art and my family. So you see here in this painting, war and peace, sitting side by side. One a fiery flower - limp and sad but yet so powerful, the other, a dove with her head down and eyes closed, wanting to be huddled up in an envelope of warmth and hidden away from all this madness!
