October. Chamzinka (2020)Oil painting
by Simon Kozhin
£2,791.04
Original artwork description
I fell in love with this motif as soon as I saw it walking along the road in the village of Chamzinka on an autumn evening after painting the Church of Archangel Michael. October is a real magician, it paints the crowns of trees in bright colors from gold to fiery red. And in this motif, I also noticed a maple tree, whose brush of orange October color touched only the edges of the crown, and there are few leaves near the trees. Bathhouses and houses on the slope, illuminated by the sun of the day, play with the textures of wood and stone, creating a beautiful pattern on the surface, similar to a mosaic.
