Landscape of Auvergne, in the very heart of France.
A beautiful Autumn afternoon in the paths near my studio.
This landscape is a plein air painting, painted “alla prima” in one single sitting, with lively and spontaneous brushstrokes to attempt to capture the momentary effects of sunlight , the movement and the atmosphere.
READY TO HANG. Framed with a simple painted stick of pine wood.
Materials used:
This painting is painted with professional grade oil colors on a primed canvas. I prepare myself my canvases to create a texture specific to my painting needs and to insure them maximum longevity.
