Classic yacht NY50 Spartan was built in 1912 by the Herreshoff Company of Bristol, Rhode Island, for the New York Sailing Club. Of the 9 yachts of this type that were built, Spartan is the last remaining example. Here she is sailing into Mahon Harbour after a day's racing around the Islands
