An anatomical abstract figures in a box, male and female couple in isolation. A contemporary painting by artist Eraclis painted with observation and meaning. My box nudes are emotional paintings and are about being in isolation due to the covid epidemic and being told to keep social distancing. It's narrative includes fear, unease and hibernating into the future. Putting your life on hold, waiting and contemplation of the future and your life. A trap or a blessing.
It's a talking point which captures a point in life full of emotional and in some cases loss.
The constant reminding to please observe social distancing was a focal point for the artwork to developed in to the original idea.
