In this piece, I aimed to capture the first light of dawn across the fields of Conwy, North Wales, with a glimpse of the sea on the distant horizon.
My paintings are often inspired by my love and fascination with ever-changing skies and cloud formation. I try to capture the movement and mood of the skies, land and sea - Calm and dreamy, to dramatic and surreal.
I study the skies over the Cheshire hills, close to my home and also the coastal skies over North Wales,
