No Place Like Home is a large-format abstract work that captures the quiet, sun-warmed feeling of belonging — that instant you step through a door and exhale. Layers of translucent pink, sea-green, and golden ochre drip and pool across the canvas, built up in washes of acrylic ink before being interrupted by looser gestural marks in acrylic, pastel, spray paint, and charcoal. A small sketched house, a pair of birds in flight, a key, figs, palm trees, almond flowers, and fragments of handwritten text drift through the composition like half-remembered thoughts — anchoring the abstraction to something deeply personal.

Painted in my studio on Mallorca, this piece continues my ongoing exploration of Mediterranean light and the emotional pull of home, wherever that turns out to be.

Ready to hang, signed by the artist on the front. Edges painted. Varnished.
