No Map for This Journey is a reflection on moving through a world that cannot be fully predicted, controlled, or understood. A solitary Canada goose appears as an unlikely captain, surrounded by restless seas, distant vessels, floating balloons, and wild plants that seem to grow directly into his path. He is both humorous and resolute — a traveler who has stopped waiting for certainty before moving forward. For me, the journey is larger than migration from one place to another. It is a passage between ways of understanding consciousness, belonging, and our relationship with the world around us. The living landscape is not a passive background: birds, flowers, water, air, memory, objects, and unseen systems all participate in an interconnected field of presence and exchange. I am increasingly interested in the possibility that consciousness may be far more diverse than we traditionally imagine — not necessarily confined to the boundaries we have established between human and animal, biological and non-biological, nature and the digital world. In my artistic universe, these boundaries remain open questions rather than fixed conclusions. The pirate goose therefore becomes a playful guardian of uncertainty. He has no reliable chart and no promise of calm water, yet he moves forward with curiosity rather than fear. Perhaps resilience does not mean knowing the way. Perhaps it means becoming capable of traveling without a map — listening, adapting, communicating, and gradually discovering that the unfamiliar world around us may not be something to conquer, but something to enter into dialogue with.
