Original artwork description
This is an acrylic painting featuring the sea at night. A huge moon shines down on a breaking wave lighting up the transparent greens and blues of the falling water.
There is something magical about waves; the reassuring rhythm of the rise and fall on to the beach. My aim was to create something a little different by setting the scene at night.
The work is inspired by various observations of the coast in the far south and the far north of the UK.
The painting is supplied rolled in a tube.
