Original artwork description
I like to paint small paintings in between my larger water pieces to freshen up my eye, loosen things up and keep things interesting. I had really fancied painting some night skies, so have done a small series (although potentially more of these to come) to experiment with stars and the sky. We were supposed to head back to NZ for a visit last year and it looks like it won't happen this year either so I thought some Milky Way paintings would be a great way to see the amazing New Zealand night skies when I can't actually get there!
