This is the case when a commission perfectly match the taste of the artist. In fact, when I received the e-mail with the picture of Nicolo, I felt in love with it and suddenly started working on the painting. I had to change very few details, mainly lights and contrast, to obtain a good sample to work on. The boy is so expressive and he looks so natural that it seems it is about to pop up from the painting. I must say it has been a pleasure to work on this artwork, and the result was much appreciated by the customer and by me.
