This is one of two views I painted of the falls while visiting on my annual motorcycle road trip I take with my brother each summer. We hadn't planned on visiting the falls but found ourselves in close proximity after winding up in Buffalo, NY.
I like that a road trip can lead me to inspiring spots that fuel my work for many months to come. Every trip is a chance to find something visually appealing and challenging.
