TITLE : New Dawn

The deep soft dark of endless space. Only the light on the horizon promises of a new dawn.

This minimal image was created on the clifftops on the Isle of Skye looking out to sea. This space is filled with potential, the dawn of realisation as the light sweeps over the land. The mystery of what lies beyond and the endless anticipation of the challenges to overcome to enter a new dawn.

I feel the depths of this work will look fabulous in a very large size so I am presenting it here at 60 x 40 inches with two inches of black border.

Created as a single image in the camera and with minimal post modification. Printed here in my studio on Skye.

I love working with luxury paper and canvas materials that hold their colours for a lifetime. For these special large prints of my work I use dreamy, light textured Canson Canvas and the highest quality inks. I do all my own printing, having spent years learning this skill I prefer to maintain control of the colour representation at all stages to ensure you get a truly handmade image.
