The work is a bird's nest woven from branches, blades of grass and feathers. It is a symbol of the temporary shelter that each of us creates for ourselves. But even the cosiest nest does not last forever, as nature or forced circumstances, such as the war in Ukraine, force us to move on. This is a kind of reflection on how we are ‘temporarily here’, in constant motion between creation, loss and transformation.
