Original artwork description
I created this piece by allowing ink and water to find their own path across a prepared gesso ground — following the material rather than directing it. The result is an organic composition in blue and grey that feels both deliberate and discovered. I work in successive layers, each one fixing and altering what came before. Gesso builds texture and relief. Fluid ink moves freely and settles into forms. Acrylic deepens and stabilises the composition, contrasting matte and lustrous finishes across the surface. The work is 60 × 60 cm, stretched on a solid wooden frame. The 4 cm deep edges are finished as part of the composition — no frame needed. Ready to hang, signed on the back, with a certificate of authenticity. Carefully packed for safe shipping.
