If you've looked at my portfolio you'll know that I enjoy making abstractions of natural subjects. Sometimes by manipulating them, and sometimes creating the effect in camera. Sometimes though, nature does the job of making an abstract image all by herself. This was shot at around 4am on a summer's morning in a remote part of the River Severn estuary about a mile up from the original Severn bridge between England and Wales.

As with all my images of this size, this is dry mounted on a backing board to avoid wrinkling in future. A double mount inside a black contemporary box frame sets this image off beautifully.
