Depiction of irises at the walled rose garden at Mottisfont Abbey Gardens, near Romsey, Hampshire.
Very heavily textured painting created with palette knife using oil paints mixed with cold wax medium to give an extra texture. Varnished with protective gloss varnish which accentuates the colours.
Shallow box canvas painted black on the sides but would greatly benefit from being framed.
Initialled on the front and signed on the back.
Supplied with a certificate of authenticity.
