Eternity still life signed 25 February 2026
In the new piece from the series “Kafkaesque Eternity with Flowers at 7 pm,” the still life is no longer an object, but a state suspended between appearance and evaporation. At 7 pm—that undecided hour when light hesitates between staying and leaving—your flowers do not bloom; they erupt from an almost spectral nucleus, like a memory that refuses to settle.
The composition seems to breathe from within: a vegetal vortex, an opening that simultaneously unravels and recomposes itself. Petroleum blue and electric turquoise pulse like restrained energy, while touches of black and carmine darken the center, creating a Kafkaesque depth—not dramatic, but inevitable. The flowers are not botanical; they are ideas of flowers. They are not placed in a recognizable vase, but in a vessel of time, a translucent container sculpted from mist and breath.
The 40 x 40 cm dimension intensifies everything: it is a concentration, a compression of the eternal into an almost intimate space. The viewer is drawn almost physically into the core of the composition, where matter becomes fluid and the identity of form is renegotiated at every second. Here, you continue the dialectic from the previous works in the series: the still life as paradox—fixed yet unstable; eternal yet fragile; floral yet unsettling.
In this work, signed on February 25, 2026, eternity is no longer monumental, but microscopic. It is an eternity that trembles. The nearly misted white surfaces create a field of silence around the chromatic explosion, as if everything were unfolding in an interior, psychic space. The flowers become a metaphor for continuous transformation, for that beauty which exists precisely because it is on the verge of dissolving.
“Kafkaesque Eternity with Flowers at 7 pm” offers no answers; it suspends the question: what remains when form melts away? Perhaps only vibration. Perhaps only trace. Or perhaps exactly that moment between day and night when everything is still possible.
