The sun has not long risen above the beach and distant cliffs at Filey on the East Yorkshire coast. Painted en plein air, on the beach, liquid graphite was first laid in washes to create an early morning mist on which pastel was then applied in gestural strokes to create a sense of movement in the painting.
This work is presented double mounted ready for framing. It will be dispatched cello wrapped and carefully packaged in an appropriate strong cardboard box protected by bubble wrap and sent via a tracked courier
