In this artwork I sought to capture the magical moments when the sun shines through lush greenery after a quick and warm summer rain. I employed an impressionistic approach to blend realism with a touch of the ethereal to show Irises in the soft rays of the morning sun. In this painting I wanted to draw the viewer’s attention to the tenderness and fragility of irises.
