The famous entrepreneur, speaker and uncompromising financial gambler Sergei Mavrodi, became famous not only for his dizzying career and fall, but also for his signature “hands behind the head” pose, in which he could convincingly talk for hours about the benefits of investing in his financial pyramid. When my brother, Misha, occasionally took this pose, I decided to make an homage portrait citing to Mavrodi. Pure, bright and almost toxic colors play with the theme of power and fickle success.
