This work evokes the fleeting presence of a city appearing and dissolving in a veil of light. Layered textures suggest weathered stone, while the warm ochre–sand palette conveys the sense of air shimmering with heat. Soft bluish-grey accents introduce a distant horizon and a subtle coolness that tempers the density of the warm tones.
The composition balances architectural suggestions with abstract gesture, as if memory attempts to reconstruct vanished contours.
