This piece, takes you on a journey through the deep Cerulean and Prussian blues of the sky, as night falls.
The fading light of the evening sky, reflects on to the still waters below.
My paintings are often inspired by my love and fascination with ever-changing skies and cloud formation. I try to capture the movement and mood of the skies and sea - Calm and dreamy, to dramatic and surreal.
The layers and textures are formed by layering and lifting the oil paint, playing on the fluidity of the medium.
