I just love Claude Monet's art! So, I loved to paint his outstanding artwork in a miniature. I was curious how would I manage to finalize this idea, and I think it worked quite good. Through this tiny painting, I've learnt lots about the master, his art, and the way he painted. "Thank you Claude, you are the most impressive artist!" I wish, I could express my gratitude...
This is a miniature painting, and its actual size may be much smaller than this one you see on your screen. I've coated the sturdy illustration board with thick (artist grade) acrylic paint. The painting is varnished to protect it from airborne pollutants and UV damage.
The painting is double mounted and framed. Colour of the frame is glossy silver with satin finish. The frame of the painting allows it to stand on its own or to be hanged on the wall (see the photo of the backside of the frame), and there is no glass in front of the painting. A glass-front is not needed because the painting is very well (three times) varnished.
My certificate of authenticity will be included.
