Mindsets Series
Happy to present my new series of artworks - called "Mind sets"!
The artworks in the “Mind sets” series turn to verbal affirmations - the so-called household magic, used by people as a means of calming, inspiring and giving mental and physical strength. Phrases and sayings about luck and wealth, taken from the 2024 calendar (year of the dragon), are transferred to the canvas, along with the image of the symbol of the year itself, ironically reflecting idleness, dreams of well-being, luck and prosperity, as an integral part of everyday life. Subjects and scenes are taken from paintings by the artist of the Romantic age, Francisco Goya. According to the author, the works are charged with well-being.
