This painting was born out of a desire to capture the feeling of a summer midday in the city — when the sun seems to melt the skyline into golden haze. "Midday" is not about precision but about sensation: the soft blur of heatwaves, the flickering rhythm of buildings, and the mirage-like dance of colors. I created this work using layered oil techniques to build an atmosphere where the city feels alive yet dreamlike, suspended between pulse and pause.
