Original artwork description
Mexico City
A sprawling, bustling, and vibrant city. History is told in layers, from the buried remains of early civilizations to the top of the modern "Torre Latino" tower, dominating the yesterday and the today of the megalopolis.
The warm colors of the ancient walls contrast with the grays, whites, and blacks of the contemporary buildings.
The venerable colonial architecture sways a little as the city was built on marshland, and the ground there is not very stable.
The city is very much alive, and death is joyfully celebrated in colors.

- Size: 39 x 32 x 0.1cm (unframed) / 35 x 28cm (actual image size)
