Protea. This work is executed using fine lines and strokes to convey the structure of the plant in detail. The protea is a symbol of endurance and transformation, reflecting the idea of nature's resilience to change. The meticulous attention to detail emphasises the fragility and strength of the plant, which, even in dryness and wilting, retains its beauty and hidden energy of life. The work invites us to reflect on the cycles of nature and its ability to renew itself, despite its apparent fragility.
