Title: Mercantile Mechanism #13 (KAISEKI RYORI 会席料理)
The thirteenth work in a series that explores metaphorical, imagined, and observed economic systems. This work is derived from seasonal cuisine in Japan, with multiple small dishes, called KAISEKI RYORI [ 会席料理 ].
There are five panels to mix and match placement, with a total size of 43 cm x 40 cm.
(2 panels are 25 cm x 20 cm each; 3 panels are 18 cm x 13 cm each.)
Painted with acrylics on canvas. Using razor blades and brushes, a foundation of colors are layered to a rich texture, and overlaid with intricate lines and geometric patterns resembling circuitry.
