Original artwork description
This work is intended to evoke a feeling that this young lady has experienced some sadness as a child.
Memory of a lonely childhood is a one of a kind original work of art. It is produced using India ink and acrylic paint on 5 mil archival grade mylar. I have stayed with my usual pallet of warm “earthy” colors. For this piece, the background was printed in high resolution and laminated to the mylar. The two portraits were then painted with india ink and acrylic.
I only sell original work so there will only be one original.
The painting is signed on the front and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
This painting will be ready to hang, out of the box. It will be mounted on tempered masonite with a one half inch border all around and a 1.5” wide wooden frame. The frame is finished with a dark grey semi-gloss paint. The painting will have a hanging strip on the back and I include a “monkey hook” for easy attachment to your wall. It can be on your wall within five minutes.
