“Memories of the Sea II” 🌊

The sea has a way of staying with us — its colors, its calm, the quiet sound of waves coming and going. I painted this with palette knives, layering countless shades of blue — deep ocean, turquoise, and soft sky. The thick, heavy texture grainy, crackle texture gives the painting a sense of movement, as if the waves could almost be touched.

Beneath the surface, delicate touches of gold leaf shimmer through, catching the light like early moonlight on the water. This play of color and texture holds the sea’s quiet strength and gentle energy — something that’s hard to capture in a photo and can only truly be seen with the eyes.

Each stroke of blue reminds me of quiet evenings by the shore and how the sea always feels like home. 💙

This painting comes on a 4 cm thick stretched canvas, giving it a bold, sculptural presence on the wall.
