The "Memories of Andrew's descent" is part of the mystical painting series “Ghost City.”
This series is dedicated to the lost architectural soul of Kyiv — buildings that once defined the city’s character but no longer exist.

Each structure in the paintings is deeply connected to the history of Kyiv. These buildings were demolished, erased from the cityscape, yet they continue to live on in memory. In this triptych, the architecture appears as if it is slowly drifting into eternity, fading between presence and absence.

The building in the foreground feels suspended in time — a silent witness to history, captured at the moment of disappearance. The work reflects themes of loss, memory, and the fragile connection between past and present.
