This painting is part of a series exploring my emotional states. Each portrait in the series represents an emotion I’m experiencing while painting it. The process helps me release and, quite literally, visualize what I feel.

This canvas is Melancholy.
A complex state, when my thoughts refuse to form clearly, and both my heart and soul are filled with uncertainty. The figure has no eyes — a metaphor for emotional detachment, when the gaze is no longer directed outward, but turned inward.

Through color, texture, and expressive strokes, I try to give shape to feelings that are often silent but overwhelming. This piece is a quiet confession, a visual meditation on heaviness, stillness, and internal chaos.
