Every meaningful encounter changes us. We carry traces of the people we meet, just as they carry traces of us, while each life continues along its own path.

This idea became the foundation of this painting. It is created on two separate pieces of pre-toned canvas, hand-joined with visible white stitches. Rather than hiding this connection, I chose to leave it exposed. The gap between the two canvases remains, suggesting that genuine closeness does not erase distance or individuality—it simply creates a bond strong enough to bridge it.

The flowing abstract forms gradually reach toward one another like roots, living organisms or memories, inviting each viewer to discover a personal meaning within the meeting of two lives.
