Acrylic painting on canvas. The impressionistic interpretation of spring landscapes plays on the shift and movement of both the feeling and the life during this time of year. The artist uses bold colours and textures in an impasto style to show the shift from a dark winter to a bright and dynamic spring. The artist has used textures to create a contrast between the trees that are full of movements as they bloom in early spring, and the iridescent base and highlight to emphasise the light, giving a unique and beautiful effect in all rooms at different times of day.
