Original artwork description:

This painting is an artistic collaboration with the late Henri Matisse and my friend Elen who pole dances for fitness. I am interested in the negative spaces created by use of a grid. I want to paint like a modern day Van Gogh and draw like Rafael. People have told me this painting is incredably dynamic and full of movement and color- sure to enliven any space it has the honor to grace. It dazzles in changing light due to use of aluminum enamel and is very impasto, especially as an exciting re-painting.

Materials used:

oil, emulsion, charcoal on stretched canvas
