These hands belong to a 94 year old lady.
I love hands, they are wonderful to paint. Her skin had a lovely quality...almost like tissue paper crumpled up.
She is painted on deep edge box canvas with the side painted pale blush.
Signed on both back & front.
This piece features in my solo show 'Fleshy' ( ends 19th Nov, Theatre Royal Gallery,Plymouth, UK)
